City Traffic Police (CTP) Rawalpindi has set up four new traffic sectors to improve road management and reduce congestion in the district.
According to a CTP spokesperson, the new sectors have been created at Saidpur, Range Road, Chakri Road, and Jhelum Road. Traffic in-charges have been deployed at each location, and official vehicles have been provided to strengthen field operations.
Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Farhan Aslam said the initiative will help ensure smoother traffic flow and provide better facilities for commuters. He added that monitoring and traffic arrangements at key points would also be improved.
The CTO noted that maintaining smooth traffic on highways and providing convenience to the public remain the department’s top priorities. He said efforts were underway to make Rawalpindi’s traffic system a model for the province.

Good .. enhance it more to Adyala road, kalyal road, also.
The intention is not for smooth running of traffic but to charge fine for motor cyclist. Shame for such policies. Roads are pathetic but they do injustice in the name of justice and laea
