What was announced as Pakistan’s first haemophilia ward exclusively for women has become the subject of widespread mockery online after photos from its inauguration showed the ward filled with male patients.
City Mayor Barrister Murtaza Wahab had inaugurated the new unit at Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, claiming that it would provide separate rooms and beds to ensure privacy and comfort for women undergoing treatment.
But pictures from the event, shared by Wahab himself, told a very different story. The images went viral on social media, showing the mayor shaking hands with male patients casually occupying the beds in the ward designated for women.
The contradiction quickly sparked criticism and ridicule, with many questioning how officials and hospital staff failed to notice the glaring error. Social media users called the episode an embarrassing blunder, with one commenting: “I am confused. Is this a real post or a joke? Or do these men identify as women?”
What the hell were male patients doing in women ward?

Another added, “What makes no sense is this. I thought Murtaza Wahab was educated and sensible, but this is pure stupidity.”

To be fair . They might identify as women
Zinda hai Bhutto Zinda hai
The one who were asked to do arrangements for photo session, was only able to get male patient?
