The University of Lahore (UOL) has announced a new scholarship program for students who scored 90 percent or higher in their intermediate or equivalent examinations.
According to a statement issued on Wednesday, the initiative will provide a fully-funded education for eligible students, covering tuition fees across all bachelor’s degree programs offered at the university.
Chairman of the UOL Board of Governors, Awais Raoof, said the program was designed to ensure that financial constraints do not stand in the way of academic potential.
The scheme applies to a wide range of undergraduate disciplines, including sciences, creative arts, social sciences, management, allied health sciences, pharmacy, engineering, technology, and information technology. UOL said the focus on these fields reflects Pakistan’s growing need for expertise in healthcare, innovation, and technology.
The university added that the scholarship program aims to prepare a new generation of graduates who can contribute meaningfully to national development and enhance the country’s global competitiveness.
Can you also introduce scholarship for mphill programs thats not fair at all and if i talk about alumini you just gave 10% while there are program with 40% scholarship as well. Its not related to that every department HOD has to go to approve this kind of thing you have to be fair for every alumini if you gave 10% to one programs then it has to be same for every programs and if 40% the same for others as well no need to be biased because every alumini has the equal rights whatevet their bachelors or department is
