Punjab Changes 11th Class Admission Deadline

The Punjab Boards Committee of Chairpersons (PBCC) has revised the admission schedule for Class XI (First Year) for the academic session 2025–2027.

The committee took the decision during an emergency meeting on 16 September 2025 after reviewing the disruption caused by floods across Punjab.

Revised Deadlines for Admission

• Without late fee: 4 August 2025 to 29 September 2025
• With late fee of Rs. 600 per student (payable to the Board): 30 September 2025 to 14 October 2025

These dates apply to all Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISEs) in Punjab.

Admission Requirements

• Educational institutions must ensure the following steps are completed within the deadlines:
• Online entry of student data.
• Deposit of admission fees through computerized challans.
• Submission of hard copies of enrollment returns, along with the original deposited challan, to the relevant BISE office.

The PBCC noted that the floods had affected several districts, making it difficult for institutions and students to meet the original deadlines. The revised schedule provides additional time to complete the admission process.

The PBCC has made it clear that no admissions will be accepted after 14 October 2025 under this schedule. Institutions and students are expected to complete all formalities before the final deadline.
