Electro Bus Service Announced for More Cities in Punjab

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz on Thursday announced that electric bus services would soon be introduced in four additional South Punjab districts: Rajanpur, Layyah, Muzaffargarh, and Taunsa.

Speaking at the inauguration of the electro bus service in Dera Ghazi Khan, she said every district of South Punjab would be provided with modern transport facilities. The move follows the launch of 101 electro buses in the Dera Ghazi Khan division, with a phased expansion planned for other cities.

Maryam Nawaz said the project was a gift for ordinary citizens, women, students, and persons with disabilities. She emphasized that Punjab’s resources would be spent on its people, promising that South Punjab would not be left behind in development.
