The Punjab Board of Revenue has requested Rs. 21 crore in funds for the purchase of 29 new vehicles to facilitate newly appointed officers.
According to official documents, the vehicles are intended for officers ranging from grade 17 to grade 21. The request follows the creation of 24 new posts under recent institutional reforms within the department.
The proposed procurement list includes 19 Toyota Yaris cars, six Suzuki Cultus, two Toyota Fortuner SUVs, and three Revo double-cabin vehicles.
Officials said the new vehicles are needed to ensure smooth operations and field mobility for officers across the province.
