The Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) has announced major relief for its agricultural consumers by extending the due dates for electricity bill payments.
According to a statement from FESCO headquarters, over 53,000 agricultural customers will now receive an additional seven days to pay their electricity bills. The extension aims to ease financial pressure on farmers and ensure greater flexibility in payment schedules.
FESCO has instructed all regional circles to implement the new policy immediately and advised consumers to apply for the extension before the original due date expires.
Officials said the move is part of the company’s ongoing efforts to support the agricultural sector.
“FESCO is committed to facilitating farmers through practical measures that ensure uninterrupted access to electricity and reduce financial stress,” a spokesperson said.
The initiative is expected to provide significant relief to agricultural consumers, especially during the ongoing harvest season when electricity demand and operational costs are typically higher.
