The Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) has launched a new digital payment system that allows consumers to pay their electricity bills instantly using a QR code, 24NewsHD TV reported.
With this upgrade, LESCO customers can now make payments directly through their mobile banking applications by simply scanning the QR code printed on their bills — eliminating the need to visit bank branches or payment centers.

LESCO CEO Engineer Muhammad Ramzan Butt said the initiative aims to make bill payments “faster, easier, and more secure.” He added that adopting modern technology reflects LESCO’s commitment to providing transparent and customer-friendly services.
“Our priority is to deliver convenience and reliability through innovation,” Butt said, emphasizing that the new system aligns with LESCO’s broader goal of digital transformation in service delivery.
