Pakistan cricket team is quickly running out of games to turn its Women’s ODI World Cup campaign around and today, they face England in Colombo in what could be their final chance to earn a semifinal spot.
After three straight losses, Fatima Sana’s side is desperate to find a breakthrough and reignite hopes of finishing the tournament on a positive note. England, on the other hand, is in unstoppable form, having won all three of their matches so far with dominant all-round performances. With a semifinal spot in sight, they’ll be aiming to extend their perfect run against a struggling Pakistan side that has yet to find rhythm with the bat.
Pakistan’s batting has been their biggest concern. Totals of 129, 159, and 114 have shown just how hard runs have been to come by on surfaces that aren’t suited for batting. Sidra Amin remains the lone bright spot with two half-centuries, but she has found little support elsewhere.
England’s top-ranked spinner, Sophie Ecclestone, is in top gear, backed by Linsey Smith and Charlie Dean, a trio that has already dismantled several lineups in this World Cup and will look to put in another shift against Pakistan.
PTV Sports and Ten Sports will air the match live across Pakistan on traditional cable, while fans can catch the action live through the following platforms:

For England, it’s another step toward the semifinals. For Pakistan, it’s a chance to restore pride and prove that their young side can still fight against one of the world’s best.
The match begins at 2:30 PM (PST) and all eyes will be on whether Pakistan’s batters can finally rise to the occasion.
