Girls VS Boys: BISE Faisalabad 11th Class Results 2025 – Who Won?

The 2025 Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) First Annual Examination results from the Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education (BISE) Faisalabad reveal a clear performance gap between male and female students. Across every academic stream, both regular and private, female candidates outperformed their male counterparts, continuing a consistent trend that has been observed in previous years.

Overall Pass Percentage

  • Boys: 47,132 appeared, 21,570 passed – 45.79%
  • Girls: 61,050 appeared, 38,732 passed – 63.47%
  • Combined: 108,182 appeared, 60,302 passed – 55.74%

Regular Candidates Performance

Humanities Group

  • Male: 18,480 appeared, 5,372 passed – 29.08%
  • Female: 23,702 appeared, 13,904 passed – 58.66%

Pre-Medical Group

  • Male: 14,425 appeared, 6,257 passed – 43.38%
  • Female: 19,250 appeared, 13,437 passed – 69.80%

Pre-Engineering Group

  • Male: 7,856 appeared, 3,367 passed – 42.87%
  • Female: 9,595 appeared, 6,289 passed – 65.54%

General Science Group

  • Male: 8,643 appeared, 3,260 passed – 37.71%
  • Female: 13,081 appeared, 6,013 passed – 45.96%

Commerce Group

  • Male: 2,822 appeared, 1,644 passed – 58.26%
  • Female: 2,569 appeared, 1,689 passed – 65.78%

Private Candidates Performance

Humanities Group

  • Male: 2,618 appeared, 662 passed – 25.30%
  • Female: 3,110 appeared, 1,275 passed – 41.00%

Gender Gap in Academic Performance

Female students outperformed male students in every major group, with especially strong leads in humanities and pre-medical, with the gap exceeding 25% in humanities and nearly 20% in pre-medical. Girls in science and commerce groups also showed consistently higher success rates, reflecting their stronger academic standing across the board.
