The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has announced an extension in the deadline for applications to the Commonwealth Scholarship Programme 2025–26.
According to the HEC, candidates can now submit their applications for Master’s and PhD scholarships until October 21, instead of the earlier deadline of October 14.
Under the programme, a total of 56 Pakistani students will receive scholarships — 26 for Master’s and 30 for PhD studies.
The Commonwealth Scholarships, funded by the British government, provide full financial support to students from developing countries each year.
Applicants from Pakistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir are eligible to apply for the programme, which is managed by the HEC in collaboration with the UK government.
