Pakistan Navy Chief Meets US Naval Official to Boost Maritime Cooperation

Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf held a series of important meetings with senior U.S. naval and civilian officials during his official visit to the United States.

According to the Pakistan Navy spokesperson, discussions focused on matters of mutual professional interest, including regional security, maritime cooperation, and professional training.

During his visit, the Naval Chief toured the U.S. National Defense University and met with its President, Vice Admiral Peter A. Garvin.

He also visited the U.S. Department of State, where he met Deputy Assistant Secretary for Political-Military Affairs Stanley L. Brown. In his address to scholars and think tank representatives, Admiral Naveed Ashraf discussed regional maritime security challenges and the Navy’s continued commitment to global and regional maritime peace efforts.
