A private school teacher allegedly broke a 9th-grade student’s hand after continuously beating her for not memorizing her lesson, causing a fracture in her right hand.
The incident took place in Phoolnagar, the hometown of Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat. According to the reports, the teacher attacked the student repeatedly with a stick after she failed to perform well on a test.
Following a written complaint by the girl’s father, the City Police Station has launched an investigation into the matter.
Meanwhile, the school administration has denied all allegations, claiming that the accusations made by the student and her family are false and baseless.
