UAE Mosques to Pray Salat Al-Istisqa Today Amid Dry Spell

In response to a prolonged dry spell, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has announced that Salat Al-Istisqa (the rain prayer) will be offered across all mosques in the country on Friday, following the directive of President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

According to Arab media reports, the special prayer will be held 30 minutes before the Friday (Jumu’ah) prayer. The initiative comes as part of the UAE’s long-standing religious and cultural tradition of seeking divine mercy during periods of limited rainfall.
