The Pakistan Shaheens are bracing for another thrilling international assignment as they prepare to lock horns with the England Lions in a white-ball series set to unfold in Abu Dhabi from 20 February to 9 March; the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced the schedule on Monday.
The tour comprises eight high-stakes encounters, including three T20s followed by five one-day matches, crafted to challenge Pakistan’s rising stars and groom them for future national duties.
Pakistan Shaheens have been actively building their resume over the past year, featuring in tours to Darwin (Australia)for the Top End T20 series, hosting Bangladesh ‘A’ and Sri Lanka ‘A’, and competing in the ACC Men’s Emerging Asia Cup. Earlier in 2025, they toured England, playing across both three-day and one-day formats — highlighting their expanding international footprint.
The last face-off between these two sides dates back to 2018 in the UAE, where Pakistan ‘A’ (now Shaheens) clinched the four-day and one-day series, while the England Lions triumphed in the T20s. This upcoming series offers a chance to settle scores and renew a competitive rivalry.
