A 63-year-old Sri Lankan banker based in Riyadh, Mohamed Nalim, has won a 250-gram 24-karat gold bar in Big Ticket’s weekly electronic draw. His winning ticket number was 173160.
Nalim shared that he first learned about Big Ticket seven years ago from a Pakistani friend who regularly purchased tickets. “My friend encouraged me to participate, and together with him and another friend, I began buying tickets seven years ago,” he recalled.
Over time, he paused participating but recently decided to try his luck again after seeing Big Ticket advertisements on YouTube. “This time, I purchased tickets on my own. When I got the winning call, I was in disbelief — but deep down, I always believed I would win one day. You could say I manifested this,” he said.
Nalim, who works at a bank in Riyadh, revealed that he plans to gift the gold bar to his wife in Sri Lanka, who will have it made into jewelry for their daughter.
He added that he intends to keep participating in Big Ticket draws and has encouraged his colleagues to do the same. “Big Ticket is doing a wonderful job helping people, especially those in need,” he said.
