TCL’s FFALCON brand has introduced the 25Q6A Pro, a new 24.5-inch gaming monitor combining a 1440p resolution, 360Hz refresh rate, and Mini LED backlighting.
The main highlight of this monitor is its low price tag despite its premium Mini LED backlight, which provides near OLED levels of viewing quality.
The FFALCON 25Q6A Pro features a 24.5-inch Fast IPS panel with a resolution of 2,560 × 1,440 pixels and a 16:9 aspect ratio.
It supports a native 360Hz refresh rate along with a 1ms GTG response time.
The monitor also supports AMD FreeSync Premium and is compatible with Nvidia G-Sync to reduce screen tearing during gameplay.
The monitor uses a Mini LED backlight with 180 local dimming zones.
It offers a standard contrast ratio of 1,000:1, while its dynamic contrast ratio can reach 1,000,000:1.
Peak brightness reaches 800 nits, and the display carries DisplayHDR 600 certification.
FFALCON says the monitor covers 95% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and 99% of sRGB. Factory color accuracy is rated at Delta E below 2.
The 25Q6A Pro measures 556 × 226 × 501mm with its stand attached. It weighs 5.3kg with the stand and 3.3kg without it.
The included grey stand supports height adjustment and rotation. Users can also attach the monitor to a compatible arm or wall mount through its 100 × 100mm VESA mounting points.
Connectivity options include HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4 and an audio output jack. The monitor does not include built-in speakers and uses an external 65W power adapter.
The 25Q6A Pro includes DC dimming to reduce visible flickering.
It also supports a hardware-level low-blue-light mode intended to reduce blue-light exposure without relying entirely on software filters.
The FFALCON 25Q6A Pro will officially go on sale in China on July 31 for approximately $244.
The monitor is likely to launch in Pakistan as well, given how massive TCL’s presence is in the local market already.
