Police have arrested a man accused of sexually harassing a school teacher in Sheikhupura’s Ferozewala area. Authorities registered a case against the suspect and have started legal proceedings.
The incident came to light after a video went viral on social media. In the footage, the suspect was seen committing an indecent act against a veiled woman walking on the street before fleeing the scene.
The Chief Minister’s Complaint Cell confirmed the arrest on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter). The statement assured the public that the man who harassed the woman teacher is now in police custody.
After the video surfaced, social media users expressed outrage and demanded swift action from the Punjab Police. Many called for strict punishment to set an example and deter future incidents of harassment.
