A school van caught fire in Karachi’s Nazimabad area on Monday morning, injuring six children. The incident happened around 7:30 AM when the van overheated and burst into flames.
Rescue officials said the children suffered burns and were quickly shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for treatment. The fire caused panic among students and residents in the area.
According to police, no official report about the injured children was filed. Residents acted fast and managed to control the fire themselves before emergency services arrived.
This incident has raised concerns about the safety of school transport in Karachi. Many parents are now demanding stricter checks on school vans to prevent such accidents in the future.
