In a major expansion of its Pakistan network, Saudi Arabian low-cost carrier flyadeal has launched scheduled flights to Lahore, marking the airline’s fifth destination in the country.
The inaugural flight, F3 655 from Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport, landed at Allama Iqbal International Airport to a warm welcome that included a traditional water cannon salute. The arrival was followed by a cake-cutting ceremony attended by airport authorities, airline executives, and the crew of the first flight.
According to a company statement, flyadeal will operate two weekly flights between Riyadh and Lahore, increasing the airline’s total capacity between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan to 18 flights per week. The airline already serves Karachi, Islamabad, Peshawar, and Sialkot, with all routes introduced gradually since February 2025.
flyadeal CEO Steven Greenway called the milestone an “incredible achievement,” noting how the airline successfully expanded across Pakistan in just eight months. “Our teams have done a remarkable job in planning, launching, and establishing a nationwide operation so quickly,” he said.
Head of Sales Farooq Ahmad, speaking in Lahore, said Pakistan has become one of flyadeal’s most promising markets.
The airline, which operates a modern fleet of 42 Airbus A320s, currently flies to over 30 destinations across the Middle East, North Africa, Europe, and South Asia. As part of Saudi Vision 2030, flyadeal aims to expand its network to more than 100 destinations with a fleet exceeding 100 aircraft by the end of the decade.
