The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC) has decided to modernize the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) by introducing major reforms, according to 24NewsHD TV.
Sources, quoted by 24News, say PM&DC will develop a new framework for the MDCAT system within the next one to two weeks. The reforms aim to address complaints and problems reported during MDCAT 2025.
Once the framework is ready, the Reforms Committee will meet in November to review and discuss recommendations. The council will also consider using modern technology in the examination process.
Officials say the new MDCAT exam model will be designed to meet international standards, ensuring a fair and transparent admission process for future medical and dental students.
