The Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) has introduced a new online portal that allows citizens to cancel traffic challans that were issued in error, such as duplicate violations, without needing to visit a PSCA office or stand in line.
According to the PSCA, if a driver receives more than one challan for the same offense due to a technical or system error, they can now file a request from their mobile phone or computer.
Here is how to do it.
The PSCA says that this process will streamline complaints, reduce the burden on physical offices, and help ensure that invalid or duplicate challans are removed promptly.
For further guidance, there is also a PSCA app called PSCA Public Safety, available for both Android and iOS, which also supports the e‑Challan review and management feature
