The Pakistan Veterans Cricket Association (PVCA) has officially unveiled an 18-member national squad for the upcoming IMC Over-40s T20 World Cup 2025, featuring some of the country’s most celebrated former international cricketers.
The squad, announced by former Test cricketer and PVCA Chief Selector Ijaz Ahmed, brings together a blend of experience, talent, and nostalgia—a true reflection of Pakistan’s golden cricketing era.
Pakistan will be led by former all-rounder Abdul Razzaq, with the iconic Shahid Afridi also included in the lineup. Veteran batter Fawad Alam has been appointed vice-captain.
Adding further prestige, Pakistan legend Javed Miandad will mentor the team, offering his unmatched cricketing wisdom and strategic insight. Supporting him will be Jalaluddin as head coach and Azam Khan as team manager—both respected figures in Pakistan’s cricketing circles.
