Five suspects have been arrested after gunmen opened fire on national cricketer’s house in KP.
According to details, Naseem Shah’s house was targeted in Lower Dir on Sunday evening.
The attack took place at Naseem Shah’s residence in Mayar, where assailants targeted the main gate, windows, and a parked vehicle.
Police reported that the shooting caused significant damage to the gate, windows, and the vehicle.
Upon arrival, authorities detained five suspects in connection with the incident. A case has been registered at Mayar Police Station, and further steps are being taken to apprehend the remaining individuals involved.
Fortunately, Naseem Shah was not at home during the attack, and other family members were unharmed.
The authorities are currently investigating the motive behind the shooting.
The investigation is ongoing, with authorities confirming that Mayar Police Station has filed a case and efforts are in progress to apprehend the remaining culprits.
Naseem Shah, 22, is currently in Rawalpindi with the Pakistan cricket team, preparing for their upcoming series against Sri Lanka, which includes three ODIs.
Following that, the team will participate in a tri-nation series alongside Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka.
