Apple is expected to introduce several advanced artificial intelligence features with the launch of iOS 27, scheduled for its official unveiling in June 2026 and a full release in September. Earlier reports mentioned the inclusion of major AI updates, but details remained unclear until now. New information from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman has provided a clearer picture of what users can expect from the next major iOS update.
One of the central features arriving with iOS 27 will be an AI-based web search tool. Branded as part of Apple Intelligence, this addition aims to offer a smarter and more intuitive way for users to find information online, directly through their devices.
Alongside search improvements, Apple plans to revamp Siri’s appearance. While AI upgrades for the assistant are anticipated as early as iOS 26.4, set to be released next spring, the complete visual redesign will come with iOS 27. This change is expected to provide a new look and feel for Apple’s voice assistant, reflecting its growing AI capabilities.
Another important change involves the Health+ service. Apple is developing an AI agent designed to assist users with health management. The company intends to offer this new tool as part of its Health+ subscription, allowing users to access personalized insights and support. If this initiative proves successful, it could give Apple an edge in the health AI chatbot market, an area where major tech companies are only beginning to compete.
