A tragic incident unfolded at Manora Himalaya Beach in Karachi, where five Dow Medical University students faced drowning, police confirmed on Wednesday.
Authorities reported that three students lost their lives, and their bodies have been recovered. Two others survived but remain in critical condition after being rescued from the water.
Police stated that the students had visited the beach for a picnic when the incident occurred.
The deceased were identified as Sharib, Ashhad Abbas, and Ahmed. Authorities have transferred the bodies to a nearby medical facility for legal and procedural formalities.
