The Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) Lahore has earned international recognition once again, as its water testing laboratory successfully cleared the second audit under the ISO 17025 international standard.
According to a spokesperson, WASA’s laboratory has maintained this accreditation for six consecutive years, reaffirming the agency’s commitment to delivering reliable and high-quality testing services in line with global standards.
The laboratory is equipped to analyze water samples for arsenic, turbidity, and several other parameters.
It provides affordable testing services to both domestic and commercial consumers, while conducting daily assessments in accordance with World Health Organization (WHO) guidelines.
WASA Managing Director Ghfran Ahmed congratulated Chief Chemist Dr. Zainab and her team on the accomplishment, calling it a reflection of the agency’s dedication to ensuring safe and clean drinking water for the public.
