Another Pink Bus Service Route Announced for Karachi

The Sindh government has announced a new route for Karachi’s women-only Pink Bus Service, with operations set to begin on November 17, 2025. The route will run from Abdullah Chowk to Numaish, offering dedicated travel options for women during peak hours.

Provincial Transport Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon shared the details on Saturday. He said the Pink Bus will operate at three fixed times each day: 8am to 9am, 1pm to 2pm, and 5pm to 7pm. The schedule aims to make travel safer and more convenient for women navigating the city’s busiest corridors.

Sharjeel said the service is designed exclusively for women, with a focus on providing comfort and security. Each bus is equipped with security features, tracking systems, and trained staff to ensure a safe travel environment. He added that the Sindh government plans to expand the Pink Bus network to additional neighbourhoods in the coming months.

The minister said the initiative supports the government’s goal of improving access to education and employment for women by offering reliable and safe transportation.
