The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has announced the schedule for the second phase of the commercial auction for shops and plots in Jinnah Market Township, set for December 10 at 10 am at the Expo Center, Johar Town.
According to the LDA, the upcoming auction will include 29 commercial plots in Jinnah Market, Quaid-e-Azam Town, and 9 commercial plots located in the Child Welfare Center.
Jinnah Market Township Development Near Completion
The authority reported that 90% of development work in Jinnah Market Township is complete. Once heavily encroached for three decades, the area has now been turned into a fully developed commercial marketplace.
In the first phase, the LDA successfully auctioned 35 plots in Jinnah Market and the Child Welfare Center.
LDA Eases Requirements for Shopkeepers
To further facilitate traders and new buyers, the LDA has waived arcade exemption fees and map approval charges for Jinnah Market shopkeepers.
The authority expects strong participation in the second phase as commercial activity in the area continues to grow.
