OnePlus introduced the Ace 6 alongside the OnePlus 15, and early speculation suggests that the Ace 6 may eventually serve as the foundation for the global OnePlus 15R. The company, however, already has another device in the pipeline: the OnePlus Ace 6T.
The first teasers show the Ace 6T adopting a design similar to the rest of the series, including a squircle-shaped camera island. OnePlus has also confirmed that the phone will offer a 165Hz display refresh rate, placing it among the fastest screens available on a smartphone.
The company is promoting strong performance and long battery life, though it has not released specific figures. Recent reports claim that the Ace 6T may be the first smartphone to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, without the “Elite” branding. For comparison, the standard Ace 6 uses last year’s Snapdragon 8 Elite and houses a 7,800mAh battery.
Pre-registration for the Ace 6T is already live across major Chinese retailers, including Oppo Store, JD and Tmall. OnePlus has also released additional teaser images, which have been brightened and translated online, though they still avoid revealing full hardware details.
This marks the first time OnePlus is releasing a “T” variant within the Ace lineup, leaving room for uncertainty about its final positioning. It is not yet clear whether the Ace 6T will follow the smaller footprint of the OnePlus 13T, adopt the larger high-end format of devices like the OnePlus 10T or emerge as the global OnePlus 15R instead of the Ace 6.
