Samsung Galaxy S26 Series Leak Reveals New RAM and Storage Options

Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S26 and S26+ models are set to arrive with two memory configurations, according to a new leak. Both versions will reportedly ship with 12GB of RAM and either 256GB or 512GB of internal storage.

The Galaxy S26 Ultra will take things further with three storage options available in most regions: 12 GB/256GB, 12 GB/512GB, and 12GB/1TB.

However, the leak adds that in selected markets, the top-tier 1TB variant will receive 16GB of RAM instead. China is expected to be one of those markets, as local competitors typically offer 16GB or more in their flagship devices.

This suggests Samsung plans to match regional expectations where necessary, while keeping 12GB as the standard configuration in other parts of the world.

The company appears confident that its brand strength will outweigh the appeal of rival devices offering higher memory on paper.

A recent report also claimed that the entire Galaxy S26 series will use LPDDR5X RAM capable of reaching 10.7Gbps speeds. The new lineup is rumored to make its official debut in February.
