Oppo has officially introduced the latest phones in its popular Reno series of phones, including the Reno 15 and Reno 15 Pro. As always, the lineup includes feature-rich smartphones built around MediaTek’s Dimensity 8450 processor and a shared triple-camera system.
Here are the details.
The Reno 15 features a 6.3-inch AMOLED display that supports a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 2640 x 1216 pixels. It achieves a peak brightness of 3,600 nits, allowing reliable visibility outdoors, and includes an in-display fingerprint sensor. The handset uses a metal frame and carries IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for resistance to dust, water, and high-pressure jets. It weighs 188 grams. It is available in Aurora Blue, Canele Brown, and Starlight.
The Reno 15 Pro steps up to a larger 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with the same 120Hz refresh rate and 3,600-nit peak brightness, while offering a sharper 1.5K resolution. It retains the metal frame and complete IP66, IP68, and IP69 certification. Due to its larger structure and battery, the Pro model weighs 205 grams. It comes in 3 color choices: Canele Brown, Honey Gold, and Starlight.
Both devices rely on the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 chipset, which is designed to deliver strong multitasking performance and handle demanding workloads. They support Wi-Fi 6 for faster wireless throughput and Bluetooth 5.4 for improved connectivity.
The Reno 15 series runs ColorOS 16 based on Android 16, bringing updated animations, improved privacy tools, and system-level enhancements supported by Oppo’s AI capabilities.
Oppo has given both phones an identical camera setup. The primary camera is a 200MP sensor measuring 1/1.56 inches and equipped with optical image stabilization to improve clarity in low-light conditions. It is joined by a 50MP periscope telephoto camera that offers 3.5x optical zoom with OIS, and a 50MP ultrawide camera for broader scenes.
At the front, both models include a 50MP selfie camera with autofocus, enabling clearer portraits.
The Reno 15 contains a 6,200 mAh battery that supports 80W wired fast charging. The Reno 15 Pro increases battery capacity to 6,500 mAh and offers both 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
Pricing for the Reno 15 begins at $425 for the 12GB/256GB configuration. The 12GB/512GB and 16GB/256GB variants cost $465, the 16GB/512GB version is priced at $505, and the top 16GB/1TB model is listed at $555.
The Reno 15 Pro starts at $520 for the 12GB/256GB model, rises to $565 for the 12GB/512GB version, and reaches $605 for the 16GB/512GB variant. The highest 16GB/1TB option is priced at $675.
Note that these are all Chinese model prices, and international variants will likely cost a bit more.
