The Capital Development Authority has announced that finalize the long-pending Built Up Property (BUP) awards for three sectors in Islamabad.
These include Sectors E-13, D-13 and F-13 after completing the full verification of all constructed properties located on acquired land.
Officials said affected owners will shortly receive notices regarding their remaining payable dues.
According to the authority, the documentation and cross-checking of BUP records in the three sectors have been completed after several years of delays caused by missing information and incomplete surveys. The updated data will now be used to issue the final awards.
The CDA has advised all BUP owners and unit holders in the affected sectors to deposit their outstanding dues within ten days at the office of the Deputy Commissioner CDA.
The authority stressed that timely payment is essential to conclude the compensation and settlement process.
Officials also cautioned that those who fail to make the required payments within the deadline will bear full responsibility for any resulting delays.
The CDA added that no special requests or extensions will be entertained once the cutoff date passes, allowing the long-stalled process to move forward without further interruption.

nice
This is absolutely unacceptable from CDA, after 18 years of unjust award of land now CDA wants to announce a BUPs award. People residing in these sectors will never accept this kind of butchring attempt.
Honourable IHC has already demanded CDA through its judgement in w.p. 244 of 2018 that any/all awards announced before 2010 has lost its afficacy and must be reannounced with revised market value.
CDA wanted to buy 1 kanal from land owners for just 8 lac rupees while surrounding rates are roughly 2 million per marla. Which law allows them to rob us like this?
They tell us that only buildings constructed till 2008 will be compensated while 80% of the buildings are constructed in recent 17 years. Because we neither accepted the unjust award of 2008 nor we took any compensation of our land.
We have suffered through CDA instead because the denied our basic human needs in these areas. We do not have PTCL infrastruture in F-13 even today. We got natural gas connections in 2020 while 80% of our population still does not have any connection thanks to CDA.
We are humen, we are law biding citizens of Pakistan and sons of the soil of Islamabad. CDA must compensate us for deprining us.
During any time your land creat gold for which you demanding keep it in mind the investment of all people of Pakistan in form of taxes and develop a capital for their country otherwise what will be the value of your barren land totally zero….
