Islamabad is Getting Its First 7-Star Hotel

Preparations to build Islamabad’s first seven-star hotel have been completed ahead of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit, 24NewsHD reported on Tuesday.

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has invited international firms to develop the project.

According to officials, the hotel will be constructed in the Red Zone under a public-private partnership or joint venture with global companies.

The facility will feature world-class conference halls, seminar rooms, banquet halls, and luxury suites.

CDA plans to include multi-storey parking and a modern security system to meet international standards. The authority aims to complete the project quickly to host the SCO summit guests.

A global tender has also been issued to hire an international firm for the hotel’s development.

The government had made similar claims earlier in the year, with the hotel planned to be somewhere in the proximity of Srinagar Highway.
