ICC Set to Unveil T20 World Cup 2026 Schedule on This Date

The countdown to the 2026 T20 World Cup is about to pick up pace, as the International Cricket Council (ICC) prepares to announce the official schedule in just a few days.

According to reports emerging from India, the ceremony will take place in Mumbai on 25 November 2025, where ICC Chairman Jay Shah is expected to lead the proceedings. Former and current cricketers have also been invited, suggesting the event will be used to build early hype for the tournament.

The 2026 T20 World Cup will be hosted jointly by India and Sri Lanka. The event is likely to run from 7 February to 8 March, marking the first time the competition will be held in this timeframe.

All 20 teams have already secured their places, with Pakistan among the automatic qualifiers. The lineup includes Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Australia, England, South Africa, New Zealand, West Indies, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, the United States, Ireland, Canada, Italy, the Netherlands, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Oman, Nepal, and the UAE.
