The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has announced that bus stops across the city will be upgraded to provide a more comfortable and convenient commuting experience for passengers.
According to the announcement, the new bus stops will feature WiFi connectivity and mobile charging stations to support passengers on the go. Officials said the upgraded design also includes backlit panels to ensure better visibility and safety at night.
The upgraded stops will also have dedicated cycle stands, allowing commuters to securely park their bicycles before boarding public transport. In addition, a digital wallet opening service will be available at the new stops.

CDA has started revamping the bus stops but has not yet released a timeline for full installation or clarified how many stops will be upgraded in the first phase.
