Xiaomi has released the Mijia Smart Gas Water Heater 2 Constant Temperature Zero Cold Water 16L in China. The heater is priced at $239, and since various Xiaomi products make it to Pakistan, there is a chance that we may see the Mijia Smart Gas Water Heater 2 in the local market soon.
The system works with HyperOS and the Mi Home app, giving users full remote access. Heating times can be scheduled, and custom automation scenes can be set up with other Xiaomi smart devices, including door locks and bathroom heaters, meaning that if this smart heater is linked with a smart Xiaomi door lock, it can automatically trigger the heater to start warming up water as soon as you enter your house or the bathroom.
The heater introduces a zero-cold-water system that removes the need to wait for hot water. A built-in circulation pump warms the cold-water section of the pipes in advance, allowing hot water to reach taps immediately throughout the home. It supports scheduled preheating, one-tap activation, water-flow-triggered operation, and linked preheating with compatible smart home devices.
Xiaomi has added a dual-drive intelligent water servo system that adjusts internal water flow to maintain a steady outlet temperature. It can regulate temperature within ±0.5°C to prevent sudden changes. The heater also uses an intelligent algorithm to balance the water-to-gas ratio for stable combustion.
The heater includes a TSI high-performance booster pump for strong water flow in high-rise apartments. A direct current variable-frequency fan with ten airflow levels keeps combustion stable in different conditions.
The product holds a CQC Level 1 certification for quiet performance. Xiaomi says seven internal noise-reduction structures help keep the heater silent during early morning or late-night use.
A four-stage filtration system purifies water before heating, which Xiaomi states can improve water quality and protect sensitive skin. The heater features a pearl-white, minimalist design suitable for various home interiors.
Built-in safety measures include flameout protection, over-temperature control, anti-dry-burn systems, leak detection, and combustion monitoring.
