UAE Responds to Visa Ban News on Pakistanis

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Consul General in Karachi has dismissed reports claiming that Pakistanis are being denied visas, calling the rumors “completely false” and confirming that visa processing continues as normal.

UAE Consul General Bakheet Ateeq Alremeithi told Geo News that every visa category is being issued, and the consulate is experiencing a record surge in applications. He said demand has risen so sharply that several visa types now require advance bookings stretching beyond one month, marking the highest volume the consulate has seen in three years.

His clarification followed remarks made by Additional Interior Secretary Salman Chaudhry during a recent meeting of the Senate Functional Committee on Human Rights. Chaudhry had told the committee that the UAE was not issuing visas to Pakistani citizens and claimed the Pakistani passport had narrowly avoided a ban from both the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

He had also stated that the UAE was issuing visas only to holders of blue or diplomatic passports. The UAE envoy firmly rejected these claims, reiterating that no ban exists and that visa processing for Pakistani applicants continues across all categories.

  • UAE is lying through its teeth. UAE doesn’t want more Pakistanis in Dubai. They are fed up of their arrogance. Indians on the other hand are tail carriers. Therefore, they are preferred and enjoy better privileges.
The problem is begging groups continue to litter the streets of dubai and abu dhabi. Almost all of them belong to interior punjab districts. Most of them are pretty girls and women with a child. The begging ring operation is a new business of some PML N goon, I guess. UAE has started rejecting all visa applications from single males, a families with one child. They are also conducting an internal analysis of the situation. The karachi consulate is issuing visas to Sindh residents only. There is a blanket ban on Punjab residents

  • news related to frequent rejection by UAE authorities is absolutely correct one of my elder sister about 70 years old and her husband 71 years old were rejected for no reasons only flaw that may be was that they submitted their bank statement in which only one transaction was made through out the year having closing balance of Rs 11 lakhs roughly. if this is the reason then it’s a lame excuse for rejection .

  • Im working in Admin department in Dubai based company. New visas are banned here for Pakistani people. They keep saying no ban but ground reality is that visas are banned here.

  • Masha ALLAH Great Very useful News Updates.
Lots of lastest Update, trend’s information is shared & Received welcome 🤗 Always 😊

  • But still UAE and KSA not issuing employment based visas for Pakistani passport holders. All recruitment agencies are rejecting our application due to Pakistani. This is absolutely unfair manner for us. Our MOFA needs to work on it to make life easy for common man and establish better relationships with them to create more jobs opportunities and make easy process for Pakistanis.

  • I had applied, but recently my Dubai visa was rejected without any reason. If you are not giving visas, then refund the visa fee. Being a Islamic county you should not take Visa fees.

  • My son is a civil engineer with three and a half years of work experience. Can he go to UAE

  • Your report and information is totally incorrect. UAE visas for Pakistani national are banned almost last 3 to 4 years.

  • The counselor is lying. UAE VISAs are being denied to Pakistanis through stricter and deliberately lengthier and tedious VISA processes which were not there before.

The only way to teach Arabs humility is to treat their native citizens exactly like they treat Pakistani citizens. The fault lies with our MOFA and our bureaucracy who themselves employ and use official/diplomatic passports to exempt themselves from such onerous VISA requirements.
