Petroleum product prices in Pakistan are expected to see a significant reduction starting December 1, 2025.
According to sources, petrol prices may decrease by Rs. 3.75 per litre, while high-speed diesel could see a reduction of Rs. 6.10 per litre.
Similarly, the price of kerosene is expected to drop by Rs. 0.73 per litre, and light diesel oil may become cheaper by Rs. 6.35 per litre.
Oil companies have completed their calculations regarding the proposed price changes and submitted them to the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA). OGRA is now preparing a summary of the recommended adjustments, which will be sent to the Ministry of Finance tomorrow.
The Ministry of Finance will announce the new petroleum prices for the next 15 days on November 30, after consulting with the Prime Minister. The revised prices will take effect from December 1.

One can seldom find a country that runs only on levys on fuel products. Our revenue collection machinery (FBR) is soooo incompetent to core. Fuel prices in our country have nothing to do with international crude oil prices.
Why GoP is eating away international fuel prices drop to consumers, prices dropped by $2, why releif of Rs 3 and Rs 6 on petrol / diesel only,… Substantial releif must be given to have critical impact on transport cost that will downward affect commodities too…. GoP seems to rip off all benefit for themselves, their poor financial targets with unrealistic targets instead of drop releif to public.
Sir from where there kitchens run and the grease money they share together, how can they compromise on that? From this money their fleets of Rolls-Royce’s and personal jets run. Let the citizens eat grass and they thrive as leeches. They are parasites.
