The federal government on Sunday announced a reduction in the prices of major petroleum products for the next fortnight, following recommendations from the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA)
According to a notification, the price of Motor Spirit (petrol) has been cut by Rs. 2.00 per litre, with the new rate set at Rs. 263.45, compared to the previous price of Rs. 265.45.
Similarly, the price of High-Speed Diesel (HSD) has been reduced by Rs. 4.79 per litre, bringing it down from Rs. 284.44 to Rs. 279.65.
The petroleum division said the price revision aims to provide relief to consumers amid fluctuating global oil prices.
