The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed a 15-member squad for the ACC U19 Asia Cup 2025, set to take place in Dubai from 12 to 21 December.
Rising batter Farhan Yousaf has been named captain, while top-order performer Usman Khan will serve as vice-captain.
Pakistan is placed in Group A alongside India, Qualifier 1, and Qualifier 3. The eight-team event will play a key role in Pakistan’s preparations for the ICC U19 World Cup 2026, which will be co-hosted by Zimbabwe and Namibia from 15 January to 6 February.
Pakistan will kick off their campaign on Friday, 12 December against Qualifier 3 at The Sevens Stadium. A high-stakes clash against India follows on Sunday, 14 December at the ICC Academy Ground, before they wrap up the group stage on Tuesday, 16 December against Qualifier 1.
The knockout stage will take place on 19 December, with both semi-finals scheduled in Dubai, while the final will be contested on Sunday, 21 December.
18-year-old Farhan recently impressed for Lahore Region Whites in the National Men’s U19 Cup, scoring 369 runs in seven outings, including a century and two fifties. Usman enters the tournament with strong form as well, having compiled 429 runs with two hundreds during the same domestic youth competition while representing FATA.
Ahead of their departure, the Pakistan squad will gather for a training camp in Karachi. Departure details will be shared by the PCB in due course.
