The Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) has released a detailed schedule for its facilitation vans to provide traffic and licensing services across the federal capital at designated police checkposts during the day and in major markets during evening hours.
According to the schedule, facilitation vans will operate daily from 9:00am to 5:00pm at selected naka points, followed by market-based services from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. In addition, a dedicated facilitation window for senior citizens and women will remain operational at the Faizabad Traffic Office from 1:00pm to 7:00pm.
In the City Zone, facilitation van GAC-656 under the supervision of Sadaqat Shah will operate at the Foreign Office Checkpost from 9:00am to 1:00pm and at Zero Point Checkpost from 1:00pm to 5:00pm. Evening services will be provided at Super Market on Monday and Tuesday, Jinnah Super Market on Wednesday and Thursday, Aabpara on Friday, and Blue Area on Saturday.
In the Saddar Zone, van IDP-1387 (PS on Wheel) under SI Asim Zaidi will serve G-14 Checkpost from 9:00am to 1:00pm and E-9 Checkpost from 1:00pm to 5:00pm. Evening market services will be available at G-9 Markaz on Monday and Tuesday, G-8 Markaz on Wednesday, F-10 Markaz on Thursday, F-11 Markaz on Friday, and Centaurus Mall on Saturday.
In the I-Area Zone, van GAC-709 supervised by Abdul Qadeer will operate at Gandam Godam Checkpost from 9:00am to 1:00pm and 9th Avenue Checkpost from 1:00pm to 5:00pm. Market services will be offered at I-8 Markaz from Monday to Thursday and at I-10 Markaz on Friday and Saturday.
In the Rural Zone, van GD-896 under Aqib Khan will operate at Faizabad Checkpost from 9:00am to 11:00am and Best Western Checkpost from 11:00am to 1:00pm.
The facilitation vans provide services including learner permits, driving licence issuance and renewal, duplicate licences, character certificates, and reports of lost documents. Citizens have been advised to visit the nearest facilitation van according to the announced schedule to avail services conveniently.
