Govt Announces Hospital for Christian Community

Federal Parliamentary Secretary for Information and Broadcasting Barrister Daniyal Chaudhry announced on Wednesday that the government will establish a modern hospital for the Christian community to provide quality and advanced healthcare services.

He made the announcement while addressing a Christmas event organized by the Municipal Labour Union. Barrister Daniyal extended Christmas greetings to the Christian community and said minorities are an integral part of Pakistan and enjoy equal rights as citizens.

Several political and community leaders attended the event, including former Rawalpindi mayor Sardar Naseem, MNA Malik Abrar Ahmed, MPAs Ziaullah Shah and Raja Hanif Advocate, along with representatives of labor unions and church leadership.

Speakers at the event highlighted interfaith harmony in Pakistan and praised the Christian community’s contributions to national development and public services.

Municipal Labour Union President Raja Haroon and General Secretary Pastor Shahid Raza welcomed the hospital announcement and described it as an important step toward improving healthcare access for the Christian community.

The event concluded with a cake cutting ceremony and prayers for peace, stability, and prosperity in the country.
