Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif laid the foundation stone of the Autism Center of Excellence in Islamabad to support the training and development of children with special needs.
The center aims to provide quality care, professional support, and equal opportunities for children on the autism spectrum.
Addressing the ceremony, the prime minister announced the provision of 15 vehicles to facilitate the center’s daily operations.
He also directed authorities to complete the Autism Center of Excellence in Islamabad within one year, instead of the originally planned two years, to ensure faster services for families in need.
Highlighting the abilities of special children, Shehbaz Sharif shared inspiring examples of a child who has created impressive musical compositions and another who has spread love across Pakistan through musical performances.
He said such achievements show the immense potential of children when given proper guidance and support.
“Special children are the children of our nation. Their training and development are our collective responsibility. Anyone who contributes to this cause will be rewarded in both this world and the hereafter,” the prime minister said.
He appreciated the efforts of individuals and organizations involved in the project and stressed that supporting and guiding special children is a shared national duty.
Earlier, the prime minister was briefed on the project’s progress and met with children currently enrolled at the center.

Asslam o Alaikum! I am speech and language therapist. How can we get vacancy there.

I am a psychologist. How can I get Job here.
Whats the eligibility criteria for speech therapist.
I’m a doctor of occupational therapy. Love to see this happening. Also would love to work here as well.
There are too many autism effected children in rawalpindi and Islamabad. In private sector parents are forced to pay very high fee. Therefore too many children are not getting speech, behaviour and other required therapies. I suggest that at tehsil level autism centre should be given for poor public.
Assalamoalaikum I am Clinical Psychologist, how can I apply there
