Final Azaan of Masjid Nabawi Muezzin Late Sheikh Faisal Nauman Goes Viral

The soulful voice that called worshippers to prayer at Masjid Nabawi (ﷺ) has fallen silent forever, as the final Adhan of the mosque’s muezzin, Sheikh Faisal Nauman, has gone viral on social media.

Sheikh Faisal Nauman, who was officially appointed as a muezzin of Masjid Nabawi in 2000, passed away a few days ago at a hospital in Madinah.

He served the holy mosque for 25 years, captivating pilgrims and residents with his emotional and melodious call to prayer.

He belonged to a family with a long-standing tradition of serving Masjid Nabawi. His father also held the esteemed position of muezzin at a young age and continued delivering the Adhan at the mosque for over 90 years.

After him, this honor was passed on to Sheikh Faisal Nauman.

His funeral prayer was offered after Fajr, and he was laid to rest in Jannat-ul-Baqi, the historic cemetery in Madinah where members of the Prophet Muhammad’s (ﷺ) family and many revered companions are buried.

A video showing Sheikh Faisal Nauman delivering his final Adhan from his deathbed has recently gone viral across the world.

Earlier, the administration of Masjid Nabawi also shared an emotional message along with his last Adhan, which he delivered on November 2, marking his final call to prayer at the holy mosque.

  • And what’s the point of that ? 🤔

What’s so special about him? Over 3000 pilgrims lost their lives in ksa and their bodies were treated with disrespect and left on the streets .

They weren’t even given proper burial. Their safety was ignored as well.

When I think of them I feel more sad
