Oppo is reportedly working on the next generation of its K Turbo series, with the K15 Turbo and K15 Turbo Pro serving as successors to the K13 Turbo models. While official details are still scarce, leaks surrounding the K15 Turbo Pro have begun to surface, providing a glimpse of what to expect from the upcoming device.
The latest leak comes from well-known tipster Digital Chat Station, who reveals that the K15 Turbo Pro will be powered by the newly launched MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset. This marks a shift from earlier rumors that suggested the device could be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC, indicating that Oppo may have changed its specifications for the device.
The K15 Turbo Pro is tipped to feature a flat 6.78-inch LTPS OLED display, which should offer vibrant colors and sharp resolution for an immersive viewing experience. On the back, the device will reportedly sport a 50MP primary rear camera, continuing Oppo’s focus on high-quality photography for its mid-range offerings.
In addition, the K15 Turbo Pro is expected to come with an active cooling fan, similar to the one found in the K13 Turbo Pro. This feature aims to enhance thermal management, ensuring smooth performance during extended use or heavy tasks.
Like its predecessor, the K15 Turbo Pro is expected to come with a large-capacity battery, though specific details on the size have not been revealed yet. The K13 Turbo Pro featured a 7,000mAh battery, so it is likely that Oppo will maintain a similar or improved battery capacity in the new model to support the powerful hardware and display.
