According to the details, 3,500 Pakistanis will travel to Italy on employment visas, 1,500 under the Pakistani seasonal quota, and 2,000 under the non-seasonal quota. The remaining positions will be filled under various sector-specific arrangements.

The spokesperson said that job opportunities have been allocated in sectors including shipbreaking, hospitality, healthcare, and agriculture.

Positions are also available for welders, technicians, chefs, waiters, housekeepers, nurses, medical technicians, and farmers.

Chaudhary Salik Hussain congratulated the nation on the allocation of the job quota and announced that a joint working group meeting between Pakistan and Italy will be held in Islamabad in February 2026.

He termed the initiative a major milestone in providing Pakistani workers access to the European job market and reiterated the government’s commitment to securing quality employment opportunities abroad.

The minister emphasized that overseas Pakistanis play a crucial role in strengthening the national economy and serve as ambassadors of Pakistan.

He also expressed hope that other European countries would soon announce similar job quotas for Pakistanis.
