In terms of straps, buyers can choose between a rubber strap, a leather band, or a 3D printed titanium strap made from TC4 titanium alloy. The titanium strap is sold separately in black and silver to match the watch case. The Watch 5 runs Xiaomi HyperOS 3.

Performance and Software

The Watch 5 uses a dual-chip setup that combines the Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 SoC with a Hengxuan 2800 low-power chipset.

Xiaomi includes continuous heart rate tracking, ECG, SpO2 tracking, stress monitoring, and sleep tracking. The Watch 5 also supports over 150 sports modes and includes full-color, offline maps, as well as additional running features.

Xiaomi claims that the ECG sensor can also aid navigation by detecting hand muscle signals. It can trigger actions such as answering calls, dismissing alarms, taking photos remotely, controlling music playback, and more.

Battery and Pricing

The Watch 5 packs a 930mAh battery. Xiaomi claims up to six days of battery life with normal usage and up to 18 days in power saving mode.

For connectivity, the smartwatch supports Bluetooth 5.4, Wi Fi, NFC, GPS, and eSIM.

Xiaomi prices the Watch 5 with a rubber strap at $285. The leather strap option is exclusive to the eSIM variant, which costs $330. The 3D printed titanium strap is sold separately for $110.
