A bus driver died of a heart attack while driving in Gujranwala, causing the bus to go out of control and collide with another bus, leaving 11 people injured.
According to Rescue officials, the incident occurred near Saroki when the driver suffered a sudden cardiac arrest while the bus was in motion. As a result, the vehicle crashed into another bus traveling on the same route.
Rescue sources said that both buses belonged to the University of Gujrat and were heading from Gujrat to Alipur Chatha.
The accident injured female students and university staff members traveling in the buses. Rescue teams shifted the injured to nearby hospitals, while the bus driver died on the spot.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident.
