The Pakistan Super League (PSL) has completed ten successful years in 2025, marking a major milestone in its history.
Over the past decade, the PSL has proven that it is not just a T20 cricket tournament but a strong global sports brand. The league has consistently delivered high-quality cricket while also showcasing Pakistan’s hospitality and organizational capabilities to the world.
To mark the completion of 10 years, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) released a special video highlighting the league’s journey and achievements.

From its early days to the present, the PSL has earned a special place in the hearts of cricket fans and gained the trust of leading international players. The growing interest of overseas cricketers in participating in the league reflects its competitive environment, professional management, and distinct identity.
The journey has not been easy. However, through the collective efforts of the PCB, franchise owners, and other stakeholders, the league has overcome multiple challenges.
The tenth edition of the PSL was among the most difficult phases in its history. Despite extraordinary circumstances during the Pakistan-India conflict, all matches were successfully held in Pakistan. This further strengthened global confidence in the country’s ability to host major sporting events.
From the 11th edition onwards, PSL is now preparing to enter a new phase as two new teams will be added to the existing six franchises.
The league’s rising international profile was also evident in 2025 through successful roadshows held at Lord’s Cricket Ground and in New York.
